Additionally, we had to find a partner willing to work within our direct-to-customer retail model, which was not easy to do. At a national outdoor retail show I talked to dozens of paddleboard companies, and C4 Waterman was the best fit. A critical component of our partnership was C4’s willingness to think outside its box.
